My name is John Ford, and I’m the owner and master carpenter for John Ford Construction. We’re a small family-owned business that’s been building quality projects for over 40 years. My father, Dwayne – who set the standard for providing a high-quality product at a fair price – started the company in 1966 and remains involved today. Since the beginning he has emphasized the importance of dealing openly, honestly and respectfully with customers, and of bringing our very best to each and every project. After all, it’s our family name at stake.
Today, we focus the bulk of our work on custom cedar decks, maintenance-free decks, tropical hardwood decks and finished basements. Our customers come from all corners of the greater Twin Cities metro area. We’ve tackled jobs large and small… from small 6’x6’ patio decks to spacious 3000-square-foot multi-level dream decks. Finding someone to tackle a construction project can be confusing and stressful. It’s our goal to make the entire process simple and enjoyable. From our first meeting, where I’ll give you a free estimate on your project, and throughout the process, you’ll deal directly with me… no subcontractors, no salesman, and no middlemen. I visit each and every job site frequently, make it a point to connect with customers often, and perform the vast majority of the carpentry work myself. You deserve to know what’s going on with your project – in language you can understand. I’m here to make sure you feel good about the project from A-to-Z.
